"We stayed for 3 nights in January. Two adults and one teen - so we had tons of space in this four bedroom cottage. It was a nice place for us to use as a base to get to the Adirondacks. Note that there is no longer a hot tub, which we only found about after selecting this place. Hopefully the owner updates the listing in case that is important to you. There were some tricky things with the door lock, but Cathy helped solve this over the phone. Otherwise its a cute, clean, and comfortable home....

"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"The house was a little smaller than I expected but easily accommodated all 8 of us. Everything we needed was there and house rules/instructions were clear. I gave 4 stars because the shower handle in the master broke the second day. The owner clearly stated that it was difficult and I guess it finally broke. "Log Haven was a perfect place for us, our two grown children with spouses and our grand puppy! Often, there are 3 bedrooms but one room will have twin beds and that doesn’t fit our family.
