"Çomfortabe rooms, good beds, pleasant staff. Best feature is snorkelling right off the beach. The food was excellent although choice limited on one occasion when only the full buffet dinner was availble. Chef was flexible though."

"Overall the island was very satisfying and staff were very accommodating. The food has big portion for lunch and the buffet had great selections. The only downfall i would say will be the flies. While i do understand that it is an island on its own, however when we were at the pool or having meal, we literally had to use one hand to just get the flies out of the way, this really was demotivated us in enjoying the meal . "

"Great property, beautiful ocean. Room is great, especially outdoor shower! Wish there were more places to eat on site. Expect gnats on buffet fruits. Employees are very welcoming, and we loved the daily snorkeling trips."

"This was our second holiday here. The food was even better than we hoped. The resort is beautiful with a decent pool, and the sea is nice to swim in. We did a snorkeling trip near the island and there was plenty of coral and fish. The resort kindly organized our transfers to get to the resort as this can look daunting to understand."

"The Nakelo Resort was absolutely fantastic and surprised us with so many things to do. From going on a daily boat trip to feed the fish and snorkel, to daily activities like cocktail making and feeding turtles to mini golf and tepanyaki it was the perfect place to stay with little ones. We had an amazing time and all the staff were super friendly and hospitable"

"Absolutely amazing but far too short. Even though we weren’t there as long as we’d wanted to be (due to our schedule, nothing about the hotel), the staff went out of their way to make everything spectacular. There was a special cake for my husband’s birthday dinner dessert, dinner delivered to our room after a late arrival the day we landed in Fiji, and a goodbye song the morning we left. "My family and I had an amazing time in this beautifully set out villa. It was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the full resort and had everything we needed. The kids especiallly loved the private plunge pool and we will definitely be back again."

"We had a great time staying at the funky fish! Accommodation worked really well for our group of young students. We also really enjoyed the food, and the drinks selection was great too! There were some really fun activities on offer, and I would definitely encourage taking advantage of these- we really enjoyed going to Cloud 9 and having a day trip to Musket Cove! "

Pros: we had their biggest room, with two approx (just guessing) 3m x 4m bedrooms, 6m x 5m main room (incl kitchen).plus bathroom. Good quality interior fitout. Kitchen had fridge, 4 burner gas stovetop, microwave, electric kettle. No laundry, oven, dishwasher, or toaster.
