"The property is certainly out dated and old but the rooms themselves were quite decent. We were fortunate enough to be in a room on one end of the hotel because the live music on Saturday night didn’t bother us. We could hear it walking throughout the hotel. The continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff were nice. The room served its purpose. "

"Very clean. Staff members were friendly and efficient. We stayed first week of November 2024 to still enjoy Halloween in Salem, so it was a little cold and we loved that the hotel had fire pits in front that you could easily turn on yourself. There’s a cute game and tv room which afforded nice photo opportunity also. It’s outside of the downtown area so you have to take an Uber or walk about 15 min. We did both. "We loved our quick stay at the Hawthorne Hotel! Though our room wasn't huge, the beds were absolutely dreamy - so comfy we didn't want to get up! The best part? You literally step outside and boom - you're right in front of the Salem Witch Trial Museum! "
