"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Alvise’s country cottage! He was incredibly friendly and helpful as a host. The location has a beautiful view and lots of privacy, which was more than worth the price. We were able to get some much needed rest and visit the surrounding sites, such as Cefalù, with ease. We would definitely return given the chance."

"We had a lovely 2 week stay in Casa Mare and enjoyed the convenient location close to the beach and all amenities. The owner and his manager Marina were extremely kind and helpful during our stay and were very quick to respond to any queries we had. "The apartment was very clean and right on the water. It was truly beautiful. When we booked this apartment was not available, but we stayed in another spot in the same property. It was just as nice, though I question if it was a little smaller. The manager of the apartment was very kind and very attentive. Gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. The area of beach next to the apartment is beautiful, but the general location (outside of the apartment complex) is somewhat dirty....

"The house: 5* Attractive house, three exceptionally clean bathrooms and good, hot, strong showers. Well equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, microwave coffee machine, freezer). All the bedrooms had working aircon. Outdoor space with a huge dining table, in addition to lounge chairs and table tennis table (all equipment provided). Salvatore and his parents prepare the property beautifully - welcome pack of food and water, wine in fridge. Anti-mosquito plug-ins provided throughout house....

"Villa Cottone è bellissima!!! Our family of 8 adults and one 3- year old thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our week-long stay. The Cottone Family is extremely accommodating, responsive and helpful. Each bedroom has its own bath, and the common areas (lanai, outdoor dining porch, POOL) were great for our large family. Lia arranged for a local chef to give us a cooking lesson in Sicilian cuisine…in the outdoor kitchen…and then served what we helped make- it was an evening we will never forget....

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."

"After checking reviews of this place I was a bit worried but overall we did enjoy our stay. We are family of 4 and stayed 7 nights in bungalow. Accommodation was spacious and clean however very outdated. AC only in the bedroom so kids who were sleeping in living/dining area complained of a heat. This is a sport complex which is available to the public so at the weekends quite busy. But plenty of sun beds so no issue with finding a spot. Big swimming pool, however swimming cups are necessary....
