To RUSTIC and way out of date. "Well as least we had running hot water." You could not pay me to stay at that unit another time.

Very bad!
The WiFi did not work and contact with Vacasa was no help promised someone would be out to help, never showed up. This was the day after we arrived . Photos on web site misrepresented what was the actual property, looked like single family home when it was actually a duplex. Electrical outlet in kitchen did not work, no non slip mat for bathtub, wands on blinds were missing. No directions on how to lock up. No table on patio, said beach access, fine if you wanted to walk a mile! Would not use Vacasa again, nor recommend them. Awful service.

Needs work
Duplex smelled very dusty old not fresh clean. There was Dog hair all over couch and found dog hairs on one of the plates in cabinet. Blanket on the bed was worn out threads torn needs to be updated a little bit and better airflow to keep the smell down.

Reasonable no frills
Fairly reasonable place with good location near Main Street. But there are a few pretty common amenities missing that I typically find at other rentals of this nature in Oregon and across the country, and which would not cost that much: in the kitchen only had some McCormick spices and salt and pepper. No veg oil (except for can of spray oil), no sugar, vinegar, condiments, etc. Also, the tv is only very basic cable, without a smart tv to stream anything. Also, a simple table on back patio, where there is a fairly pleasant verdant view of trees and golf green. Nor was there any kind of table inside that could have been moved outside while eating. Apparently there used to be a table but has since been removed. There are a few plastic chairs left. Could also use some brighter bulbs in the lamps, so bring your own if you are over …60? and want to see a little better! The above seem like no-brainers. Also recommend adding a long handled bristle dish brush. A sponge does not work well for many things, especially when hand washing dishes, which is what we always do.

Moldy
This rental is extremely damp, dark and moldy. The mold smell hits you the moment you walk in. The place is definitely run down and in need of help. The tub soap fixtures were stained moldy, chipping paint above the shower, bedroom carpet was heavily stained and the bedding damp and not fresh. The wood paneling throughout give it a very dark vibe. This was a very disappointing place to stay. The main bonus was the location and the property management is amazing.

Accurate description
This is a nice small place in a convenient location to downtown Manzanita. Walking to the beach is possible too if you don’t mind a short walk. Watching golfer is also enjoyable. My only suggestion is the roll out sofa bed is uncomfortable. A new mattress is needed.

Cute little spot with easy beach access.
This house nice, conveniently located right off the Main Street for Manzanita. A couple coffee shops near by and about an 8 minute walk to the beach. We used the provided bbq grill with no issues. Everything we needed was in the house when we arrived. Check in was easy. The only thing I would mention is the size. It is a small 1 bedroom unit that is 1/2 of a duplex. It does have a pull out couch in the living room but I wouldn’t recommend staying here with more than 2 or 3 people. Glad we left the kiddos at home this time. Overall we were super happy with our stay!

Loved the location! You could walk to the beach, walk into town and backs to a golf course. Very quiet and comfortable spot. The house is outdated, but in a good, nostalgic way. Kept very clean and has everything you need. Very comfortable and relaxing, great stay.

Delightful little home
The check in and check process was super easy. Did not realize it was a duplex facility until arrival, spider webs in bathroom, laundry room and kitchen. Lifted a couch cushion and found someone else’s sock they left behind… made us wonder about the cleanliness of the home. But otherwise, perfect for two people and a dog. Close to town and beach, quiet neighborhood.

Great Location!
This property is in a darling neighborhood, steps from the center of Manzanita - fantastic location. It also has a very nice view from the back of the golf course. The place could be a 5 star - it just really needs a little TLC and some updates. Perhaps a new outdoor table & chairs, and some sprucing up inside. It is very adequate though, and the interior was nice and clean. The yard could also use some help.

Dated property, adequate, in a great location.
As the photos show, this half duplex is from another era. The yard is unkept and uninviting, both in front and back. We spent very little time here since we were outdoors exploring so it worked fine for us....a good place to sleep, shower and have a meal or two. The kitchen has the basics and that’s it....nothing for gourmet cooking. It was nice to be able to walk into town and to the beach.

Duplex in Manzanita, OR
The duplex is a fine stay in a quiet neighborhood. It was windy while we were there, and not much was open, so we drove into Seaside everyday, which was ok. I think Manzanita would be a better stay in summer when the little places are all open, so you could just pretty much stay there. If you are looking for a cheaper clean place in a small beach town, this might be for you. For us it was fine, but I would rather be right on the beach.
