"The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens. The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. "Great easy stay in this hotel, excellent condition (opened 18 months ago but everything as new). Room spacious, light and well appointed. No view but didn’t matter. Bathroom excellent, and overall design well done. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in for a while. Would definitely return. Only complaint, weirdly, was very noisey bedding!! The mattress protector creaks against the mattress. Very odd. "
