"My wife and I chose this property as it was reasonably close to Volterra - the Hilltop city we were visiting the following day. One major problem was locating the property using our GPS system. "Location is lovely, very isolated though, so you need a car. No restaurant or even breakfast facilities within less than 3 to 5 km. Great kitchen in the apartment. Perfect when traveling with a dog: you can walk them easily between the fields. Just bear in mind there is no air conditioning in the apartment. Wifi did work so-so. TV did not work and they did not come to fix it despite saying they would. Limited number of power plugs. Lovely beach and free dog beach 15 minute drive away."

"What an incredible place in lovely setting, close to many places for daytrips but also perfect to just relax and cook at home. I traveled with my spouse and two teenagers. Chicca communicated so well with us in advance and while we were there… offering and making some reservations for us and giving excellent suggestions for daytrips. The place itself feels so authentic, furnished with family heirlooms and interesting art, but also a thouroughly stocked kitchen and modern/thougtfully updated...

"Luogo perfetto per riposarsi immersi nella natura e nella tranquillità. Molto ospitale il personale e gentilissimi i titolari sempre disponibili ad ascoltare le nostre richieste. Grande l'appartamento per 5 con 2 bagni con possibilità di barbecue esterno e di mangiare anche all'esterno, parcheggio interno senza problemi. Olio di produzione buonissimo"

"It was peaceful and quiet place to rest. Having private carpark was good. The host gave us a bottle of Rosé wine which we were pleasantly surprised. The Aircon unit in the place had only heating function, the cooling function was not available. Tried to let in fresh cool air by opening the windows but there was no insect screens so the insects flew in as well. In the end, we slept in the room that was warm and stuffy. It would have great if fans were provided."
