"This property is gorgeous and is a short drive into the town of Coromandel. Shirley went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Everything you need is available here (stove, bbq, laundry, etc.). There is a private tangelo orchard that comes with the property. There are a couple chickens and a lamb that graze in the orchard. The lamb loves tangelos."

"The cottage was beautiful with so much character, books and games, and lovely options for outdoor chill areas. We spent about half our trip relaxing at the cottage as it was so homey and welcoming. Shane was inviting and as a travel magazine author had great recommendations for the very quiet town. 10/10 hope to be back."

"Great size and love the decks and the view! Suggestions: Better beds in the sleep out! Particularly the bunk beds!!! The ladder fell and almost hit one of the kids who was sleeping in the double bed. Because it’s a sleep out, all of the beds should be a series of bunk beds instead of the two double and queen beds. It needs a fan too as it was very hot! The fridge is great in there. I would suggest glassware that is usable for 13 including proper water glasses that are not so small and more...

"Although this property is within easy access to the beach and the river we found the bedrooms lacked storage space, the outdoor furniture was very difficult to manage as it is heavy, unstable and hard to move. Being able to spend as much time as possible outside is important for a family. We used the bar b que and found only 2 burners worked. "We knew it was likely to be rainy weather, which it was. This house was the perfect perch to watch the storms and rainbows over the bay and surrounding hills. It was well equipped with games that kept us amused learning new ones, and we enjoyed cooking dinners and breakfasts together in the also well equipped kitchen. The beds were all very comfortable and the entire place was pristine. It is an easy walk down to the water and not far from restaurants, groceries, etc. It was very relaxing...
