"The Motel itself and staff were excellent. The room was really clean and comfortable for the two of us. Pool and hot tub were great. The shower was fab! A little bit of noise in the mornings from the road but nothing much to worry about. Easy walking distance to the shops, restaurants and pier. Side note- was nothing to do with the motel and they have complained about it but one of the nights there was a group of youths on the beach with their cars and loud music which went on till 4/5am....

"Loved my stay at this small and very friendly motel. Room was extremely comfortable and well-supplied. A little kitchenette allowed me to do a bit of cooking. I was in Opua for Sailing Week and the motel was within easy walking distance of the marina, which has a general store where I got groceries. The motel is not on the water, but has a view of the ocean and a nice outside sitting area. Marnie and Rich were quick to offer help with whatever I needed, genuinely kind, gracious, and generous....

"The Manager was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The Motel was in easy walking distance to the Russell shops and wharf so we could just leave our car parked there. My Granddaughter loved the swimming pool. The only minor issue was the wardrobe was quite narrow so the clothes had to go in on an angle, but it wasn't that big of a problem as they could still hang up. We would definitely go back to stay there."
