5/5 - Excellent
Mele is a little way from town so if you want to shop everyday don't go here. We used Melanesian tours to get to and from town and for cultural trips and Tetaa was a great driver and knowledgable around Vanuatu....

Just minutes from the island’s main urban hub, this haven of clear pools and waterfalls hidden within the jungle makes a perfect daytrip.

Pot holes in the road were particularly bad in this area
Go to the beach to meet some locals (but it's not beautiful), the Beach Bar on a Friday night for the fire show, visit the kava place and Tanna Coffee. I didn't go to the cascades but it's close by.
Mele is great if you want to be away from the town and its amenities. Ideal if you want to relax completely and do nothing, or are prepared to travel if you want to do or see anything.
Almost perfect. Super quiet and peaceful but food options within the immediate vicinity are limited.
Also has TheBeach Bar, Wet n wild, Zipline jungle ride, fantastic snorkeling at Island Magic Jetty
