Penguin Mews By The Lake

Unit 5 Penguin Mews is a well appointed, self contained, two story Townhouse. Featuring beautiful water views in a quiet but central location in the heart of Merimbula, just a short stroll to cafes, restaurants, clubs, the lake & Merimbula Boardwalk.
Unit 5 is spacious, bright & fully furnished with “vintage” style furniture & also a small library of books. You will find a full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry facilities, reverse cycle air conditioning & free off street parking right at the front door.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed & built in robes. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, a trundle bed & built in robes. Accomodating up to 5 people in total. All linen & towels are provided.
The common area in the complex consists of a undercover BBQ area, a large salt water swimming pool & a toddler’s pool.
Please note: there is no Wi-Fi available at the complex.

We loved our stay here. Property is older but is very clean and well appointed. Great for a family. So close to the water and the main street of town. Plenty of space and parking. We loved our stay. My only disappointment was the lack of a smart TV. Seems trivial, I know, but after a long day it’s nice to hotspot from your phone and sign into your own Netflix account. The tv was just a standard one and there was a dvd player but no dvds.

Good location and nice pool. Property is very dated, no WiFi, no tea and coffee, not enough towels or toilet paper for 4 people. Only air conditioning in the main living area so the bedrooms were very hot and there were no fans. Disappointed as was expecting better considering the cost.

It was okay
Location, balcony were great. Tidy. Good water supply in tiny shower (that didnt have a handle to close door when inside). Towhouse big enough for 2 (only). ALL surfaces were sticky! Main bed door couldn't open fully. Single bed squeaked creating poor sleep. Purple loo wash was gross. Poorly shaped (very small) bathroom. Paper towel and breakfast bowls would have been great. Only one blind opened (purposely created) so insufficient light. The balcony door had to be forced open, really not good enough. Everything was old and run down. Whole place DESPERATELY needs money spent on it.
