"A gem of a cottage which had been restored to a really high standard. Comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, log burner with plenty of wood and loved all the decor/pictures throughout. A welcome basket with local goodies was also a nice touch. We loved the folder full of the history on the property and all the pictures of the other houses/buildings in the village which we went to find on our walks with our dog. Would highly recommend. "

"Really enjoyed the stay, the yurt was great and the spa sort of expensive but at the same time where else gives you full ownership of a spa for 3 hours? Not many places so for that I would say it was worth it. Very clean shower facilities were great. The yogurt itself is not very private because it’s so close to the manor when you walk out the door you’re in view of the top windows however it’s located 15 minutes away from a few different trails which were really fun to take the dog. "Spent 2 nights here recently visiting relatives in the area and loved it. Very clean, modern and comfortable and we felt very at home. All the kitchen amenities that you would need and a walk in shower to die for. We will definitely book again when in the area."

"A lovely little cabin by a lake at the back of the owner's house (great distance between. Felt secluded and peaceful. Was great waking up and feeding the chickens, guinea fowl, geese and ducks with a cup of tea looking at the lake. A great spot to unplug and relax. Fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, central heating, cooker, kettle etc. a few more utensils would be handy. Highly recommend a stay here and the owners, Amanda and Barry are friendly, helpful and good folk."

"The Barn was superb, the only thing that let it down was the pub opposite wasn’t open until the Wednesday of our stay and didn’t serve food until the Friday and that was the day of our homecoming."

"Me my partner and our dog had the best time at the Bramley orchard. It was so easy and we had everything we needed to have a great time. Sally and Simon were lovely and just left us to enjoy ourselves making sure we had everything. Highly recommend staying here!"

Room was cleam although we had to request shampoo and body wash for the shower on first night as our were empy. The staff on check in (james i think) couldnt have been more helpful and sorted it out straight away though. Hex Wildlife Hotel - Relaxing and enjoyable stay

"We had a fantastic one night stay at the Hex Wildlife Hotel over the weekend! From the moment we arrived, the hotel felt welcoming, with friendly staff and a very family-friendly atmosphere. The rooms were well-maintained, and the family room was thoughtfully designed for comfort, featuring bunk beds that the kids absolutely loved. The hotel's peaceful ambiance and its close proximity to Yorkshire Wildlife Park made it the perfect place to unwind after an exciting day exploring the park. The kids had a great time, and the hotel offered excellent amenities to keep them entertained. The breakfast was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway. A wonderful experience — highly recommended!!!"

Cheap and extremely great service from all staff

"Staff were amazing however cleaners in the morning were extremely noisey and woke us up early on hoth morning of our stay. Room was cleam although we had to request shampoo and body wash for the shower on first night as our were empy. The staff on check in (james i think) couldnt have been more helpful and sorted it out straight away though.
