"Lovely place to stay staff friendly clean beds comfortable .stairs very steep need to take your time with them people with poor mobility would find them hard to cope .there is room for 2 cars to park opposite hotel or need to park in carpark a 2-5 minute walk away .you can purchase a parking pass for £5 per day to stay there and it also cover other cars named on list in different car parks food served is very good in the restaurant not too pricey ."

"Generally a good experience, but with reservations. A hotel of character, much nicer than bland city tower blocks, but ready for overall refurbishment. Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. "Fabulous! A truly relaxing home from home, with friendly and professional staff. We appreciated the quiet of our room ( we didn’t hear other guests), it's draftproofed sash window with view over the seashore, along with a comfortable bed and sufficient space in the room to be at ease.
