Hotel exterior however looked old & tired for a 4/5 star hotel (especially compared to Sofitel just across the street which was decked out in Xmas lights and looked magical). Room is too dark with too few lights, a little dated out otherwise spacious and very comfortable. Tried the pool but it was just too cold to swim in winter (slightly heated but insufficiently). "
