An inverted roller coaster, a tower drop and one of Europe’s largest houses of horrors are among the highlights in the themed worlds of this amusement park.

With its range of roller coasters and themed worlds, Mirabilandia is a limitless playground for children of all ages. The theme park, which has a vast water world section, features some of the most exhilarating rides in Europe. Provide a thrilling time for your kids at the shows and rides of one of Italy’s largest amusement parks.

Climb aboard the iSpeed to match the velocity of a Formula 1 car. Rise to the summits of the Oil Towers for exceptional views of the surrounding scenery, followed by a thrilling drop to the base. The amusement park claims to have the world’s highest water coaster and Europe’s largest horror house.

The park’s highlight is the Katun, an inverted coaster that runs through a themed world emulating the Mayan city of Sian Ka’an. Ride along the loops that pass through the trees and crumbling walls of the lost city. More moderate attractions include the Rexplorer that voyages through a dinosaur lair and the Leprotto Express roller coaster for kids.

Bring the little ones to the gentler rides, such as Aquaqua, where they’ll battle with water cannons. Watch them frolic in the labyrinth of the Ottoland playground. Attend some of the eclectic events, which may include car shows, stunt demonstrations and dance acts.

Have snacks and drinks at one of the many cafés in the park. You’ll find international cuisine, traditional desserts and ice cream across the selection of restaurants.

Get tickets to the park online, with discounts for kids. The complex opens daily from morning until evening and has longer opening hours on Saturdays.

Drive south from the center of Ravenna for 9 miles (14 kilometers) to get to Mirabilandia, which is near the Ravenna Airport. Buses to the water park run regularly from nearby Cervia on the Adriatic Coast. You can also take a train to the Lido Di Classe–Lido Di Savio station.
