"Cute modern rooms with thoughtful touches such as sitting areas in rooms, ear plugs for thin walls, robes. It was located next to a cute shopping and dining area called the barnyard which was convenient but it did get loud with the music playing until past midnight. Parking was tough to find at night and the hot tub was always full. Staff was polite and always helpful. "

"Our stay at The Carmel Beach Resort was absolutely amazing. It’s one block from Carmel Beach, clean and comfortable. Carmel by The Sea is a small quaint town so the property is small but very well maintained. My guess is that because most of the properties were built in the early 90’s with the exception of the historical ones, the property was recently updated. "Beautiful property and stunning location. Reception was very welcoming and the main lobby has a gorgeous view of the water. The lobby fireplace was very cozy in the chilly evening. Our room was wonderful as well. We’ll be back! "

"Room was very nice. It was a warm day and there isn’t air conditioning for the room. I was able to se the supplied fan and open the sliding door to alleviate the warm room. I do recommend staying here. "

"The property was very peaceful and clean. There’s no AC but many hotels don’t in that area anyway. Plus it’s winter right now. If you’re on the second floor, usually rooms with views are, there are no elevators. Also, there is no water filter so you have to go to the office to refill water bottles, the place is a bit dated, and there is no gym here in case that’s something you can’t vacation from.
