"We spent a week at this lovely property outside Barcelona. A wonderful space with antique furniture and fantastic outdoor areas (2). The place was very clean, the host was very thorough with check-in, and gave us tips for restaurants and taking the train into Barcelona. We had a rental car and worried about parking but it was nearby and cheap. The only two minor negatives were that there was no shower, just a tub, and the WiFi signal is fairly weak. "Being American, Europe often feels like a second world country with some of the lack of amenities and the complications surrounding transportation and overall cleanliness. I would say that Granollers is great for being a non-tourist city in Europe and the hotel has amenities that I had not found elsewhere! The staff is incredible. They’re absolutely lovely and polite and they give amazing advice on food, culture, and local adventures. The exemplary staff is defined by an individual named Xavi Pascual who works at the front desk. He did such an amazing job that I am actually planning back to repeat my adventures in Granollers and staying at Aparthotel Atenea again. "
