"The gate to the property is hidden from the main road. It's opposite an industrial park. The private drive to the property is a dirt track and will take 10 minutes. It is only suitable for 4 x 4 cars and confident drivers. However, you can see plenty of rabbits and the odd owl along the way. The villa is looked after by a lovely couple, with a son who can talk a bit of English. They don't. They are on site and will help you navigate the use of the villa. They also tend their vegetable garden...

"Property beautiful and full off character. A lot of steps throughout so not suitable for anybody with mobility issues. Everything you need for cooking is there and plenty of dining areas. Property does not have air con , so house very warm but overall a fantastic experience. Montecorto a beautiful village ."

"We went as a group of seven friends and have never had to much fun! Absolutely beautiful house with so much character and obvious love put into the place - honestly felt like our home for that one week! The pictures don't do the house justice either, its a truly lovely place. Thanks so much for having us, we will definitely be coming back :)"

"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all...

"This property is amazing. Every day we discovered new and interesting things just strolling around the grounds. It was comfortable and quiet and felt perfectly safe and secure. Even the neighbor donkeys only said hello the first night. "Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Bathroom has double sinks and facecloths which was a first in Spain. Beds are great. So quiet in the countryside and just a 10km drive into Ronda where Easy underground parking in Plaza del Soccoro. Host Erich was superb Great value for money Breakfast at 12.50 per person but high but included orange juice fruit yogurt cold meats cheese bread roll croissant jam and coffee or tea. Very nice. "

A beautiful hotel

"A beautiful hotel. We thought that the breakfast was a little underwhelming and there is no restaurant out of season, however there are plenty of good places to eat in Osuna or the towns nearby. Our room was fabulous and would happily stay there again. Staff were very helpful and friendly despite having to sit in the central courtyard in the cold!"

"We have been staying in this price level throughout Andalusia and the quality of this room was by far the best. Fancy bed and fancy mini balcony overlooking gorgeous pool setting. Felt like a fancy hotel and when you are looking to save money,that is not usually expected by us. Room was smaller than most. I would say that the shower situation is not safe for someone afraid of falling or with mobility issues because it’s a bathtub you have to step into and it is slippery with no mats. Fine for most but I’d have been terrified to have my 86 yr-old mother use it had she been with us (for example). Can’t verify if every room is this way. "

Lovely time at the Carmona Patrician House

"Our travel group of women stayed at the Lovely El Tigero, the accommodations were just as advertised and the quaintness of this older country house was unique and beautiful. We cooked and ate outside al fresco. We enjoyed visiting both Seville and Carmona. The housekeepers were gracious and very helpful. Supplies can be purchased just 10 minutes up the road at a very nice Lidl, and also a nearby Aldi. The owner was good at corresponding with me and keeping me updated. We LOVED staying here and highly recommend booking this property for a great ( non-hotel) experience. You will need a car rental to get around."
