"We loved the Spa pool. The guy showed us to the room and I should of got him to turn the TV on the channels. This happens in every motel we go to - or is it just us that not use to complicated technology....lol. We couldn't get the TV to work, but that was "okay" as we were tired and slept. I did ring 0 but was out of hours and left a message—never mind. All in all, we loved the room - spa room could do with abit of a wash down though."

"Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The hotel is a little jaded now but you can still see its former splendour. I thought it was wonderful inspite of its tired facilities. The staff were super helpful and the breakfast is good. I would stay here again. "

"All staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The dining options and valet parking were convenient with good service. However, it’s the first hotel that I have stayed in that does not have a separate bathroom - even a sliding door across the bathroom area would be better"

"Second time staying here as my children (and I) absolutely love it. This is a charming property and the historical elements are so interesting. The foyer is fascinating for children with the old fashioned phone and grand piano. Excellent location, easy walking distance to the park, lakefront and many restaurants. Very good breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable and pool is lovely. "

"Well priced. In town. Staff were good. No milk in room. Would be good I was asked if I wanted any at check in. Comfortable stay for a couple nights. "

"Service was amazing! Staff were so helpful and accommodating and she always had a smile on her face. Awesome value for money! The only downsides I would say is we had someone below us that didn’t follow the time rules of the pool & their hot tub & were outside very loud with their children waking us up, I don’t find fault with the staff but it would be great if the time rules were enforced. And the stairs up stairs was a bit scary walking up in the middle of the rain because it’s so slippery. "
