"We paid for 2 studios/apartments but on arrival they would only allow us to have the 1. They also charged us €40 for having a friend around to the room on 2 occasions. One bed had a dip in it and our room wasn’t cleaned for the whole duration of our stay. There was no hot water in the shower and the fridge was also broken. "Honestly this place is a no go, I’m being completely honest there was 9 of us. 8 at majestic hotel and I had to book here as I wasn’t sure whether or not I was going to zante a couple months back but eventually did. "This was unfortunate, we were unhappy. It may be nicer during the “season” but we were so disappointed we checked out shortly after arrival and booked a new hotel. Our “partial sea view” room had 1 window that looked out at a cement wall and there was no sea in sight… secondly, the entire “lobby” was under construction and the property seemed surprised at our arrival. "One night stay in a sea view apt. Lovely room with bathroom in the bedroom. Fantastic sea views and we loved our stay - however the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard and we felt a little disappointed by this. "The toilet seat had urine stains when we first checked in and only God knows how long its been there. The kitchen lacked clean surfaces as did the floor of the entire room when we first got there. "Staff were extremely helpful, grounds were beautiful. Lots of cats and little pups around (not sure if strays or if the hotel was caring for them) but all very friendly and loved feeding them. Rooms spacious and clean. "

"The Marelen was perfect for us, the breakfast had many options, the pool bar was top notch service, its location is perfectly between the beach and main road for shops etc. We were visiting for a few days for a wedding so staying in different hotels and multiple people mentioned how they really liked our hotel compared to others in the area - we are hoping to be back for a proper holiday next year!"

"We had the Deluxe Room with Panoramic View and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was modern, clean, private and had a beautiful view. It was up three storeys (no elevator) but we didn’t mind, however worth noting if that’s a concern for you. The pool area is relaxing and clean. The hotel is back from the main road in Argassi so while it’s close to everything you need, it’s also private and quiet."
