"Staff were able to check us in early, and the room was clean, quiet, cool and comfortable - I slept brilliantly! The airport shuttle was easy to arrange and reasonably priced. The tram to the city centre is just a short walk away. There were only two relatively minor downsides: 1) We ordered the 'Cheers for Beers' package at an extra cost, which was described as 'two bottles of IJwit and a nutmix' to be delivered to the room. "Excellent location, right next to a beautiful food hall, with a lot more options for food and drinks around. At walking distance to pretty much everything. The hotel was sparkling clean, and the staff was fantastic. Looking forward to coming back. Thank you!"

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it a great base for exploring Amsterdam. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are comfortable—and let’s be honest, with such an amazing city to discover, you don’t spend much time in the room anyway. "Great service from front desk before and during our stay. Hotel helped arrange transport from airport to hotel and hotel to cruise port. Very friendly and helpful staff , shout to Anouk, Alena and Celine at the front desk as well as Bert and the rest of staff. Very happy with our stay. Conveniently located great restraunt ‘s in bite and within a few blocks and a tram too! Would definitely recommend! Thanks! "

"Way better than I was expecting. The service was great and the room was beautiful. I loved the burlesque theme throughout, it wasn't tacky of tatty. The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, not many alternatives out for vegans or lactose intolerant but just ask staff. Would definitely stay again. "

"Such a lovely old traditional hotel in a brilliant central location for exploring the city centre. We walked from main station in 20 mins, check in was very efficient and the room had a gorgeous view over the River Amstel. Bars and restaurants are all around the corners from here and felt very safe walking around at night. Rooms were very clean and warm as we stayed in February. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again if we return."

"Property was nice with many amenities. The room was very basic and a bit tight, but met all our needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful with our requests. Lots of younger students and visitors staying here which kept things feeling young and vibrant."
