"Very nice property with all the facilities we required for an enjoyable family holiday. The pool, hot tub & large garden areas were all well used by all of us. Inside, the property is very spacious with plenty of games/books if required. The bar area with the pool table was the focal point in the evenings with plenty of fun competition to be crowned champion. All in all would certainly recommend for an extended family holiday. "

"This is a really lovely, if very quiet place to stay. Many of the restaurants in the region closed in the pandemic so be prepared to cook! Some things in the apartment don't work quite right and the hosts are not very forthcoming with help- but equally they are not intrusive and none of the little problems spoiled our stay."

"We had a brilliant stay at Canal Cottage. The outdoor space is amazing, and Dave and Viv really have thought of everything to make the most of the indoor space. Our boys loved the massive garden, and we all enjoyed the hot tub and eating outdoors. Dave and Viv are very hospitable but in no way intrusive. We would definitely recommend!"
