"Set in the grounds of the May Day insane asylum, this lovely hotel and its attentive, hard working staff was a great place to stay. The restaurant and bar area were great, the hotel has a warm cozy feel, the rural views and the tour of the old asylum were a bonus and the gorgeous grounds made for a peaceful visit. We will be back. "

"We have chosen to stay in Hotel Shamrock for our 46th wedding anniversary because of its central position and a wonderful feel of yesteryear (we also stayed here in 2018). We were upgraded to Nellie Melba room. A lovely gesture on the part of hotel staff. The room was so spacious we could dance a night away here. The hotel has a few “wrinkles” and “saggy” bits here and there, but the charm is irreplaceable. We will be coming back next year for the irreplaceable charm of the old world and the friendliness and kindness of the staff."

"We booked a powered site with ensuite for 3 days. Staff very helpful and friendly. Wonderful location looking out over the ocean, saw whales off in the distance (bonus). Easy walk down to the beach. Would highly recommend this park. "
