Muskegon is a destination like no other, located on the shores of Lake Michigan with world class beaches. There is so much to do and see, beautiful sand dunes to the north, an amusement park with roller coasters and waterslides. Restaurants right on the beach and a downtown area with breweries, theaters, museums, and social districts. So much entertainment, with festivals throughout the year. This cottage has a great location to it all. If your looking for a place to relax and restore look no further!

Beautiful and remodeled for the 2023 season this waterfront cottage is located on all sports Mona Lake with Lake Michigan access. The cottage has over 2000 square feet of living area with 4 large waterfront bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one on each level. The downstairs bathroom has whirlpool Jacuzzi tub and custom glass block walk in shower, the upstair bathroom is located off the queen bedroom and has a standup tile shower. Relax in the outdoor sunken hot tub (open year round) and an additional 800 square feet of multi level decking with gorgeous panoramic views of lake!

Cottage also has a large fully-stocked kitchen, a laundry room with washer/dryer, free WiFi, a 2021 Bennington pontoon boat (available June 1st through Oct 25th, Mona Lake use only), 2 kayaks and a canoe are included with the rental. Enjoy the lake with a waterside deck with attached dock. Enjoy the evenings making memories around the large fire pit and wood is provided. Bring your own boat if you wish the boat launch is just down the street.

Getaway Weekends also avail. from Labor Day to Memorial Day.

Wonderful Girls Getaway
We had a wonderful stay here for our girls getaway weekend! The house was very clean and so pretty. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep, sit, relax. We opted out of the boat but the hot tub was perfect! Such a beautiful home!

Family loved it .my daughter was visiting from Edinburgh Scotland and my 92 year old mother got to spend some time her . bathroom next to her room and the kids stayed up stairs perfect lay out .kitchen has everything you need boat and hot tub were great fun will book again

Just perfect
This was a perfect time of year to go. The house was exactly as described, with plenty of space, full kitchen, and the watercraft (canoe, kayak) were great fun, as was the pontoon boat. We had great times around the firepit in the evenings. There was plenty to do in the area, good hiking, live music and I especially liked the submarine museum, very well done. Special shout out to Kim, the manager. We had an actual conversation before arrival, and expectations and information were clear. We asked a couple of questions during the stay, and she answered within a few minutes each time. thanks!

Great Stay!
My family visited for a long weekend due to my daughter’s dance competition in Fruitport. The home was clean, appeared as advertised, and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc). Communication from the hosts was excellent - clear, friendly, and timely. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and making s’mores on the fire pit by the lake. We’d definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our long weekend on Mona Lake. The house was very well stocked and had every thing we needed. Kim the property manager was awesome and answered any question. We paid to rent the pontoon and loved cruising the lake but it needs more details in the description about the exact dates when the boat rental is extra! But we would definitely like to return in the future!

Lovely, updated, clean home
We loved the home, the pontoon, the fire pit and our time together in Norton Shores, on Mona Lake. The weather was warm enough that we skipped the hot tub, but sure loved the sunsets on the lake! Hope to stay again!

Awesome lake house
We had a terrific time at this house. Check in was a breeze and they provided the pontoon, paddle boards, and kayaks. The water was the main draw, but there’s lots to do nearby. Everyone enjoyed going to the farmers market, picking blueberries, shopping in Grand Haven, and touring a submarine and Coast Guard ship.

My 3 friends and I loved staying at the boathouse/cottage this weekend! It was very well kept and comfortable allowing us to enjoy our time together! The property manager was great also when we had to reschedule in the fall due to COVID!!

Great lake getaway house!
The house was wonderful, a definite 5 star house with a large open living area and plenty of sleeping spaces. Very clean and nicely decorated. Nice large gathering area in the kitchen. Everything we needed was there, all kitchen appliances and utensils etc. Fun to hang out on the deck or in the hot tub looking out over the lake . We opted to pay extra for use of the Pontoon boat provided which was fun to do leisurely trips around the lake. The only downside of the property was the many geese families often present on the back lawn with the landmine of their droppings to walk through, otherwise a full 5 star place. A suggestion would be to put fake plastic swans in the yard to keep the geese off the yard (that works by our subdivision pond). Thanks for the wonderful place and quick responses to any questions we had.

Perfect Getaway
All of us sisters/ nieces came in to relax before my baby sister got married. We enjoyed the lake and sitting around the fire. We made breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had enough pans for everything!! Communication with the property manager was on point. Can't wait to return.

We loved being on the lake! The pontoon boat was beautiful and between that and the paddle boards and kayaks, we had plenty to enjoy. The jacuzzi and fire pit were an added bonus! We'd stay here again.
