No one atvthe desk and as a foreign visitor I wasn’t able to phone son left key in room (as that’s where it was when I arrived) and hopes for the best. "This is a good hotel in the outskirts of Invercargill. The staff is very nice and we had a great discussion with the Bulldozer. The room is very large and has a good kitchen with all the items needed to cook a meal. The area around the hotel is rather suburban and other than the two restaurants next door there is not much you can walk to. The Park is one block away but you cannot enter the main part of the park from here since it is cut off by the golf course. The free laundry is an excellent...

"What we didnt like was the laundry facilities. Had 6 days of clothes and it didnt dry so had extra time to stay a bit longer in Gore. What we like was the space of the room, comfy chairs and bed, good shower pressure, had everything in the kitchen facilities."

"The apartment we stayed in was great. It was much more spacious than I expected and had everything we needed. We loved having the washer/dryer in unit to catch up on laundry during our trip around the south island. My wife was bothered by the incense or scented oil smell they used here. It was on the excessive side. The parking was also not ideal. They do have 'on-site' parking near the hotel entrance but it's a very small lot.
