Large 2 bedroom plus loft luxurious cottage in the highly sought after Oceanside Village! Over 1100 sq. ft., featuring fully equipped kitchen, separate dining area and large, spacious living room with queen sized pull out bed, electric fireplace, vaulted ceilings and patio doors leading out to a large deck equipped with Weber gas grill and outdoor dining set. Two large bedrooms with queen beds, full bathroom and laundry area complete the first floor. The loft is furnished with another queen sized bed, and the second full bathroom with walk-in shower.

Amenities at the cottage include complete kitchen facilities, including full-sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave, and all of the supplies you'd need to make your family meals complete. As well, a large washer and dryer is conveniently located on the main floor. Cable TV and free WiFi are included with your stay. And the cottage is stocked with and ample supply of linens and towels.

There are decks at both the front and rear of the cottage, which provide plenty of space for guests to enjoy unwinding and dining in the summer evenings.

Oceanside Village Resort has a beautiful indoor pool/hot tub and fitness centre, and is just a short walk from miles of sandy beach and forest trails at Rathtrevor Provincial Park. Also just a short walk away is Tigh-na-Mara Resort, and the world famous Grotto Spa, as well as Riptide Lagoon mini golf for the young or young at heart. The charming city of Parskville is a couple minute drive away, and offers dining, shopping and various festivals and entertainment for the entire family.

A wonderful get away
This is a very lovely cottage in a great location. It had everything we needed. We had little trips to nearby towns and many hours at the beach. There is a fantastic playground very nearby, if you have young children in your group. And, we went daily to the pool and hot tub.

Siblings get away
Us 4 siblings got together for the anniversary of our mom’s passing. This cottage had everything we needed to be comfortable. It had 4 beds which we wanted, it was close to Rathtrevor beach & within walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Sharon B

Beautiful 3 bed/2 bathroom home in resort area, close to beach. It was perfect for what we needed as a large family visiting for a wedding. PROS: -large space for gathering friends and family -cozy and modern -electric fireplace -nice bbq and patio area -comfy beds -quiet resort area close to beach CONS: -upstairs toilet wasn't completely cleaned and the house didn't have any cleaning supplies, so we had to go buy our own lysol wipes. -handle on vacuum cleaner was broken so it kept falling off when we tried to use it. -dishwasher is not secured in place so it falls out when opened. -bbq propane tank was empty so we filled it ourselves. -tv remotes were a little complicated to figure out But overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Thank you.

Family meets new baby
Our son and daughter-in-law, who live in Parksville, had a baby so my husband and I, our 2 other son’s plus 1 fiancé, and my mom came to visit and cuddle the baby. The cottage was great! The only thing we would say is that the hide a bed was not very sturdy but what hide a bed is really! We would also suggest having more than one little hotel disk soap bar in each bathroom.

Perfect Place!
We couldn't have picked a better place for us four ladies to get together! Clean, private, all the amenities we needed. And we could bring our dogs! The location was convenient across the street from Rathtrevor so the beach was just a 10 minute walk away. Our weekend was prefect. Thank you!!!

Girls reunion
Lovely accommodation. Nice and quiet. Close to the road, but no issue for us Beds comfortable overall, but the loft could use either blackout curtains or a roller shade that keeps the morning light a bit more subdued, if you like to sleep in. It would be nice to have something to put luggage on to keep it off the floor, as I'm a senior citizen. Great private backyard patio. Good communication with owner. Would definitely recommend this property and we're hoping to come back again.

Excellent Parksville retreat
This cottage was clean, great location and most importantly dog friendly which can be hard to find. The area was quiet and easy to walk around. Downtown Parksville is a short drive away. When I texted the owners a question, I got an immediate reply, but overall the listing was as expected and a wonderful place to stay. Would highly recommend.

Perfect Parksville stay
We stayed for 3 nights. 3 adults and 1 older teen plus our dog. Checked all the boxes for what we wanted. Enough room. Quiet. Grassy area for our dog. Well equipped kitchen. 10 minute walk or short drive to Rathtrevor Beach. The mattresses were on the firmer side and the sofa bed wasn't very comfortable (probably fine for younger kids). Other than this, we really enjoyed our stay. The indoor pool and hot tub are very nice and well maintained.

Distance to beach
Description of “steps away from beach access” was very misleading. Beach access walking was five minutes walking to the park gate and then at least 15 to 30 minutes after that to the beach if you had children with you. Just say a short drive to the beach and be done with it.

Exactly what was advertised! Clean, Great location, Lovely home!
Our family rented this property for a birthday celebration. It was wonderfully equipped with everything you could need. It was clean and exactly what it said in the write up. The pool was a 2 min walk and the property was well kept. The back deck was super sunny which was nice in to evenings. The only downside was the pull out couch in the living room was terrivle. Not even kids wanted to sleep on it. The pull out in the upstairs loft was amazing so I would suggest they do the same thing down below. Overall very happy with the place.
