"Rooms nice and spacious. Could use a few finer points in room. I believe they are short staffed, the housekeeper I saw on our floor seemed to be the only one handling the floor. The restaurant was very expensive $10 for the cheapest beer. We really couldn't afford to eat there"

"In general , the hotel is very nice. However, amenities are very basic, a high-end hotel has no wash clothes in the room, Kleenex run out not replenish, only 1 flat pillow per person, and had to make use of the sofar cushion to fit my head while sleeping. Twice I called reception counter but never answered and had to go to the reception counter in person for service, I refused to go to the lobby myself for the second time. I would not give this hotel a thumb up for recommendations. "

"Great stay overnight if you have a early flight, you can even take the tram/bus to the airport or to the city centre for free if you want to but you could walk to the airport really, 5-10 minutes (you can even see it)"

"Easy access to town centre, on two main bus lines, opposite a lovely Brasserie, Pizza Place and Chinese place. Very quiet area. Very nice service from front desk, always smiling and polite. The only drawback was that the air conditioning did not work very well, so overnight it became rather hot. Would go back there, for sure. "

"We came to Trier for the Christmas market and to visit the Roman sites. The hotel was ideally placed for both. There's no restaurant but the hotel buffet breakfast was excellent and catered well for a gluten intolerance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking in the underground carpark was fine if a little tight to navigate in a bigger car. The staff were excellent and helpful. They spoke perfect English but humoured our schoolboy German! All round good."

"Loved the place but the room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and not only was there no elevator but the stair case was very narrow and difficult to bring the luggage up. We still loved it and understand the way it is looks better so it’s not a con, just think it’s good to know, specially for people traveling with small children like we did. "

"Room was comfortable. However, floorboards creaked with every step. Bed also very noisy with every movement. On-site parking is very limited. App required to pay for street parking not compatible with American cell phone. Parking ticket machines no longer accepts coins or cards. Hotel desk clerk did not appear very happy to assist guests, or maybe just us. Breakfast was very good. "

"Disappointed that the extra bed was not ready for us despite reception knowing that it was a room for 2 adults and a child at check in we had to go back to reception to get a child’s bed. The hotel says that children stay free, but that was not our experience as my friend had the room next door and she paid less using the same booking platform and we booked at the same time. "
