"The place was great, tiny cabin on a lot with guest-shared bathroom and kitchen. Great location, close and overlooking Nelson. Lovely little patio. My only complaint was that we got there right after a long hike and I really wanted a hot shower and there was some large scary bugs in the shower. But that can’t be helped in a kind of outside bathroom. The host was great and gave us great recommendations on things that were happening in Nelson. "

"Was a lovely little cabin. Very clean and homey. It was very quiet in the evening so you could the frogs. The outside was nice but there were lots of wasps. They did have traps out but think it was just the year for them as they wear ever where. Never made it to the lake so can not say about that. But we did enjoy the peace and quiet"

"Amazing hosts! The cabin is situated on a beautiful piece of property set among the idyllic countryside of Castlegar. An easy commute to town and beautiful attractions within the area. We enjoyed our morning coffees on the front porch listening to the everfesscent sounds of spring, an onithologists dream. Evening visits of statueseque elk that grazed upon the fauna. "We really enjoyed the property. There are short hikes around the property, that you can link up to longer hikes if you choose. About 20 minutes from Nelson. There are a few cabins on the property, but very private and not all too close to each other. It was very quiet and easy to get to more urban areas if you choose.
