Nice option for a family vacation
This was a nice property. If you know what you’re getting (and that’s ok) then this might be perfect. It was fine for us, but I don’t think we’d return.
This unit is a suite with a kitchen in a very, very large property. The unit itself was clean, but the stairwell and elevator areas were used often had trash littered around them. I assumed that it would be like other Marriott resorts, and have multiple restaurants and beautiful grounds to walk on. It only has one restaurant at the pool, but it does have a well-stocked little grocery store and Starbucks. You should be prepared to either bring your own food and cook in the kitchen, which is a decent size, order in or go out. Additionally, the resort, if that’s what you call it, was very very full. The pools were crowded with children and adults, and lots of noise. The grounds were pretty and well-maintained, but we’re mostly just roads between the various complexes. The beach is about a 15 minute walk mostly along a highway. The check in process was long and tedious. The hosts were friendly and professional but seemed to know little about the area or the resort and referred me to hotel staff to get answers to questions.
Again, this could be a perfect spot for you and your family, but for me, it was far less personal than other VRBO’s I’ve stayed at. And unfortunately, far less inclusive than other resorts.
