Baronscourt is the ancestral estate of the Duke of Abercorn and the course here is as beautiful as you might expect, with beech trees and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Golfers often come across deer, pheasant, red squirrels and buzzards while enjoying a round.
The current course was designed in the 1970s by Frank Pennink, who believed it to be one of the best locations for a parkland courses he had ever seen. In recent years, the course has undergone even more extensive renovation making a suitable challenge for golfers of all abilities.
