" Had a lovely relaxing 6 days in this beautiful place. Peaceful and private , super clean and comfortable. The pool is amazing and as I have been recovering from surgeries was the best thing I could be doing to help me move again ! Tanya was a fantastic friendly helpful host. she suppled lots of snacks and treats and prepared me a delicious dinner for my arrival ! Beautiful! Will hopefully be back again!"

"We had such an incredible stay at Perri and Tim's property. The views, the macadamia orchard, the sauna, the comfy bed. Nothing to fault in this beautiful location. It was such a pleasure meeting Perri, and she went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We cannot recommend this stay and this location more, the proximity to Newrybar for a great cup of coffee and Bangalow for some lovely shopping is also a huge drawcard. "I was looking for a cute home to stay in for the week to use as our home base to come back to from our little day trips and it was perfect! The Old Shop was minimalist and clean and you could tell a lot of thought and love went into every detail of creating this little home. On day one I had to move the pool cover to clean the pool of countless leaves and foliage before we used it.We then had to change out the gas cylinder ourselves after having cold showers on morning that the Luxico person whom met us on check in day acknowledged that it was nearly empty and yet did nothing about it. "We rented for 5 nights this was done with ease, we decided to see if we could extend after checking sight for availability we thought this would be easy, not so as it took ages for people to respond, the price per night increased from advertisement by $50 / night ( 285 to 335), I thought they may have double charged cleaning fee they say no, so that soured the break hopefully they can sort that out, plus contact number was a Qld base but sent through to overseas I think. Very spacious, the continental breakfast was an added bonus very much well received not having had a chance to stop anywhere after leaving Casino where we left after the truck show.
