Great time in Norfolk
My wife and I came up for the weekend. Had a great time. The place is pretty small, but was perfect for just the two of us. Check-in was easy and communication with the owner was great. Decent location.

“Perfect Little Shack”
Just me and my boyfriend stayed here for a few days. Everything was good. Anthony the host was great with communication and made everything very easy. Everything is nice and clean. We mainly just went to the beach all day, went out for dinner, and just spent nights there mainly. That’s what a place like this is really meant for. 👍

Great place for the price
We’ve now stayed in two vrbo’s from this owner and both times we have not been disappointed. This property is right down the road from free parking at the beach which is super convenient and a lot less crowded than staying at Virginia Beach. This property is now our go-to for having a quick vacation where we can relax for the weekend. The place was super clean but we did have to wash the dishes before using them but that did not take away from the trip at all and this is still a 5-Star worthy place to stay! We really enjoyed it!

Perfect little place!
I would definitely stay here again. It is small, but for two people and two dogs it had everything we needed. The fenced in backyard was a huge bonus. The couch reminded me of my college years but it was actually quite comfortable. The place was clean and only two blocks to the beach. Communication with Anthony was quick and efficient.

Enjoyed this cozy little place - just perfect 2 people - beautiful nice garden in the back - very quiet - highly recommend - kitchen has all you may need - BBQ grill in the back yard - if you are more than rent all 3 units and share the back yard - we will be back -

Very comfortable home for me to stay in. Had my daughter and her boyfriend over for game night a few nights and it was perfect. Walking distance to the beach and home is located in a quiet location. Will totally book here again when I return.

Convenient and clean. Host responded very quickly when we had the wrong pass code for the door. We would recommend new dinette stools; the existing stools wobbly. We recommend for an affordable stay in the Norfolk / VA Beach area.

Nice place by the beach
Didn't spend a lot of time at the rental - just used it to crash. Nice place for it. Very close to the beach, which was great. Not sure if Norfolk has recycling services, but a recycling bin would have been nice. It seems like the owners are continually making improvements, so this place will only get better!

Fantastic little apartment rental
We booked this rental for 14 days-I had business in the area and brought my teen to stay for a vacation/trip. The location was great! Very close to airport, downtown (less than 10 min drive), 2-3 blocks to beach access and parks. Quiet neighborhood and just enough space! Loved the laundry and kitchen-made just about all our meals! Bathroom spacious. Definitely fit our budget and needs. The backyard/patio was nice (shared with other apartments) but fenced for pets/children. Manager was great as well! No issues with security or appliances. Property was clean and there was vacuum/broom and supplies available so we could clean ourselves (sometimes longer rentals don’t have that). I did purchase paper goods (including toilet paper) for our use while in residence, but I expected that. Wifi was great for both teen use and I was able to work as well. Had cable tv.

Beach getaway
Check in was a little difficult as we were sent the wrong code. Contacted the owner, who had to contact someone else for the code. Once we were inside all was good. Couch was not to comfortable but we didn't sit to liong. Kitchen was not stocked well, no bowls found for storage in the fridge. Place was nice and clean for the most part. Trash was stacked up in the back yard (either not picked up by the city or a party before us but all 6 cans were full and smelly due to heat). Grass was in a need of a cutting but we managed on the pavers. Bed was comfortable. Place was hard to regulate the air conditioning, seemed that the system was being changed remotely at times. Loved the area and it was within walking distance to the beach.

Old Marine, bad back and neck
The location and layout of the house was great. The location was both a bit hidden and quiet, while having easy access to many areas. I was in town for a National Marine Corps League Conference. So, days spent on hard chairs at a convention center downtown Norfolk. Medical discharge for neck/ back injury in 1993. The bed seemed like it was high in the middle causing a roll to either side. I ended up sleeping directly in the middle propped by blanket and pillow so stay stationary. The couch was low so did not work for me. The last night l put the back cushions on loveseat at angles that allowed the best sleep of the stay. For a younger me the floor would have been comfy Everything else was exactly what l needed at an excellent price. Mike

So much better than a hotel!
I occasionally travel to the VA Beach Area with work. Usually I stay at a hotel, but this time couldn't find one close to my worksite that fit my budget so decided to try VRBO. The apartment is wonderful. Great location. Easy access to the beach, to Newport News, Norfolk, Military Reservation and Fort Story. The booking process was efficient and easy. I brought my dog and it was so much better than trying to navigate him in a hotel. I want to go back and stay just for a short weekend vacation.

BEACH (WAS ACTUALLY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE) HAD FREE PARKING, WAS NOT CROWDED AND VERY CLEAN ... ... CONDO HAD NICE BACKYARD WHERE I COULD SIT WITH MY DOG (GRASSY AREA & PATIO) ... THIS WAS SHARED BY OTHERS AT TIMES ... BUT EVERYTHING WAS SUPER COOL ... MET INTERESTING PEOPLE WHO WERE FRIENDLY AND NICE ... ... I WOULD RECCOMMEND THIS LITTLE BUNGALOW TO ANYONE, A SMALL GROUP ...
