"I love the ambience, kind staff. The pool staff was a bit aloof and didnt start the sauna's on time and I had to ask and they forgot to turn one of them on , (which wouldnt have mattered but I only had an hour and it was the reason I came) It is quite far from the train station and quite a pricey uber/ cab drive (38 euros from trouville station) but it is well worth it for the spa vibe and the beautiful floral decor around the hotel. "The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . Staff didn’t even care when I told them I had a terrible stay upon check out. They just smiled. When paying 300 Euros...

"This accommodation is basic. The kitchen woul be more useful with better utensils eg a sharp knife, veg peeler, chopping board. "Everything was great about this place. Super clean, right in the beach, and close to downtown and the casino. There was just one really odd element- I tried to buy a bottle of wine at the bar downstairs to take up to my room, and this seemed to be a big hassle. The bartender had to call some one to find out how to ring it up and the tried to give me 4 glasses- I can’t imagine it’s a foreign concept for someone to want a bottle of wine in their room. "

"Charming little house that you can never imagine houses as many rooms as it does. Our room was on the top floor and accessible by elevator (thank god), since stairs were steep and narrow. It was spacious, bright and clean with modern amenities. A couple of quirks I will mention as warning for others. The hotel closes at 9 pm and if you arrive later you will find the doors locked and lights off. We finally figured out the emergency line for the hotel and called them, but we did have about 30...

"Really gorgeous hotel, grounds are very pretty and well kept. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only thing that was missing was there wasn’t a restaurant on site for evening meals.
