"This property is beautiful, the Ziva is older (built in 70's) of the two hotels and very grand. It is family-oriented so a little busier and noisier and though we went as a couple, our accommodations were at Ziva. Our room was comfortable with views of pools and ocean from lovely balcony; updated bathroom. The Zilara is all adults, newer facility and has adult oriented activities. The grounds are beautifully tended with palm trees and flowering shrubs everywhere. We enjoyed the variety and quality of food at the restaurants especially Flavorz, French and Italian restaurants. Also enjoyed breakfast daily at Choicez and the amazing coffee at Aromaz and Grindz espresso bars. The staff was friendly, helpful and plentiful at the restaurants and in general throughout the resort. Plan to visit Jamaica again and will definitely stay at Zelara in the future! "

"We were very happy with our vacation at the RIU. The room was very nice it’s an incredible view of the Caribbean. We had several concerns at first, but the issues were quickly resolved. All the help, from desk clerks, to servers to maintenance, etc., were extremely polite and friendly. We certainly would recommend your hotel to others. "

My particular room wasn’t the greatest in terms of cleanliness of the desk and counter or have well-maintained decor but I still had a 5-star stay and still very much liked the room. I enjoyed the view from the balcony, the shower, the minibar, and the comfortable bed. Food options were great and there’s a fun little disco and beach/pool area."
