Shilo Inn in North Oregon Coast from NZ$271

"Our room was great, the staff was very friendly whenever we needed anything. The continental breakfast had a good variety of food to choose from in the morning plus fresh coffee, which they also provide a French press in your room in case you want to just watch the waves. I was a little disappointed in how they handled their annual fire drill, instead of telling us on check-in they called the rooms in the morning. Unfortunately, we had just come back from shopping and didn't receive a call. It was a little startling, since I imagine it's planned out in advanced and a small note when we checked in would've prevented miscommunication. Additionally, we called to ask if the pool had towels and they assured us they did. We went down shortly after calling and found a pile of used towels, so we had to run up to our room on the third floor which was freezing. Despite that, I would definitely stay again I just will bring my own towels and I hope they read this and adjust their mode of communication for big events. "

"Loved loved loved this place. Will def be staying here again. Check in and out was super easy and quick. They were so helpful! They had a great breakfast bar! The windows opened which we loved being able to hear the rain. Rooms very spacious and clean. Toliet ran a little we had to giggle the handle but didnt mind. Very close and walkable to alot of food and stores. Parking close to entrance and free. We really loved the women who was there doing the front desk and breakfast and cleaning she was wonder women with a great attitude and smile always!! Loved their store with food and drinks, and commonly forgotten items you could purchase :) The only thing we feel was meh, was the water pressure-- it was rough for my daughter and I to wash our hair ( longer / thicker ). But really we would def stay again! We loved it and the staff!! Beautiful property and well priced!! "
