"The Diria is an excellent place to stay if you want beachside accommodation. Lots of space in the gardens adjacent to the beach for sunbathing. The hotel is adjacent to the best part of the beach for safe swimming "

"All inclusive was not what I expected time limit on food not good after 9:30pm not able to get anything to eat and the breaks during at least one restaurant should have been open to grab a snak"

"The room was spacious and clean with the features we like, comfortable bed and pillows, hairdryer, refrigerator, clean bedding and towels upon request. The hotel isn’t on the beach but the ocean view from our balcony was spectacular. There is an hourly shuttle to town and the beach club. The only negative aspect was there were 40 loungers around the pool but only 5 umbrellas. Due to the angle of the sun, there is no shade anywhere during the hottest time of the day. The best part of the experience was the staff, from the shuttle drivers, chamber maids, front desk, restaurant and pool. They interacted with us and had a positive impact on our stay. "

"This hotel is great. All inclusive is awesome and the views are breathtaking. The staff is wonderful. The food is great. There is a big hill from the main lobby, pools, and food down to the rooms and the beach itself but there is a little shuttle that circles around to the stops every 5-10 minutes. The beach is accessible by foot. The only drawback is that there is no WiFi in the rooms themselves. The WiFi is only available in the common areas (front desk/pools/food) Otherwise it’s a very comfortable place to spend a few days. "

"I am very through when it comes to trips. If you are a solo traveler or even looking for a family vacation . This is a good place to stay. Pros: - The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. Even the workers fixing up the hotel. Easy to show you where to go if needed. - It is safe ! The resort is gated and there is security that checks cars and vans coming in and out. I saw a comment about someone losing money from their room. The resorts’ gate security checks employees belongings before leaving work. - Food choices are pretty good for all inclusive. They have an omelette bar in the mornings where you can pick your choice of fixings for the cook to make. So yummy !! - I did not book excursions prior to my trip because I felt I would get better deals at the resort and I did !! There are different companies at the resorts that offer many excursions. I went on the volcano sight seeing / hike with a mud bath . It was an experience I will never forget. - Souvenirs: The resort has amazing shops to buy souvenirs, however I love how the local merchants were allowed on the resort on the beach. You are able to negotiate prices with them. Some can be more aggressive to sell than others. Con’s: There’s no true nightlife at the resorts, except a mini club on the outskirts and the shows the resorts have a 9pm nightly. - BUGS ! I made sure to lock my screen door at night because the creatures come out at night. I still ended with a beetle in my room. Overall a good vacay spot "
