Some things were surprising though in a hotel of this quality - the curtains not being of sufficient quality to keep out any of the bright sunlight, the only way to turn on the fan was by climbing up on the bed, the tv remote not working. I guess it is not within the city center, but the train service is convenient. So the location is not an issue to us. "

"We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We opted to eat in the hotel dining room and the food prepared by Vik was exceptional. We’re talking perfectly seasoned and beautifully cooked European dishes with top-end restaurant presentation.
