"Loved the campfire at night, the privacy, but ease of location. It was so close to the lake and close to the small town. Kitchen allowed us to cook all of our meals there. We felt like the owners had us in mind when they prepared things. The garage space was a great bonus for staging tubes for the river or for the kids to hang out. Pictures don't entirely capture how much space is in the house. Would definitely stay again!"

"Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!"

"This location had a large number of beds so everyone could spread out and that worked well. No complaints on the rooms except more closets would have been helpful since we were all going to a wedding and everyone had formal wear to hang up. The back bathroom and back room with a bed that was used did not have privacy curtains and we had to drape sheets over the windows. The front room also did not have enough curtains to cover all the windows so we felt a little exposed. However, since the...

"Nearly new and nice basic accommodation. If I ever needed to be near Empire or Sleeping Bear Dunes I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook it. Only one negative, the walls are not well sound insulated. "
