"Pefect for bike holiday"

"Stayed there with my friends during a climbing-trip. Easy check-in, parking lots and a good kitchen for cooking our own food. Short distance to many of the climbing crags but also really close to mtb-trails. And the view is amazing. "

There is air conditioning in both of the bedrooms, which are upstairs, but we also had a lovely cooling breeze through the house - even at the start of July. "This is a very cool house but the photos and the reality are not one and the same. I was shocked at how rustic the kitchen was. The only pic of the kitchen is the fabulous gas range, but there is a reason they don't show you the rest. It is tiny, with not much storage or countertop space. the marble sink is old and very small. It was a struggle cooking in there. "Entrance to the property is through an impressive gate into a walled garden, with multiple seating areas, the pool and an amazing view of the hills around Toirano. The house is part of a large building that was at one time an olive oil mill, and has retained some of the original features including the oil millstone and some of the workings. "My wife and I stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay and property. Jessica was responsive and very helpful. It is way up the hill, so be prepared to drive to the beach. Would be even better with 2 couples where you could enjoy some meals together on the patio, overlooking the sea. The views of the sea from the house and patio are really incredible. Very tastefully and artistically decorated. Enjoyed dinner at La Ruggia and visiting Finalborgo. Highly recommend!"
