"We booked the barrel suana cabin, it was a cute little cabin with an outdoor bath tub and wood fired sauna. All the staff were so professional, polite and friendly especially ishigawa and keiko. We are definitely coming back on our next trip to Japan. This place is a little piece of heaven . I recommend booking the private hot springs and suana. "This hotel was the best one we stayed in. Not only was the room huge but they had an onsen right in property. Another big thing for me was they let you do laundry for free with all the products for it too. It's also right on the beach and they offer free lockers and showers!"

"Amazing stay at Hanaori! We stayed at the Deluxe Room with private open-air bath. Staff were wonderful, there's welcome-drink at the reception. The view was amazing; you can see the lake from the lobby & dining area. There's foot-onsen also overlooking the lake. Dining is all buffet, but it's the same every night / every morning. Public bath was also great (both indoor and outdoor). Absolutely no tattoos allowed in the public bath. Walking distance to Hakone ropeway to get the black-eggs. "
