"The room was quiet and tidy, with beautiful surroundings—ideal for a short stay. However, the bathroom and shower area were quite narrow, and the shower curtain kept clinging during use, which was rather uncomfortable. Better maintenance is recommended."

"Great for a family as it is somewhat self contained (kitchenette with sink, fridge & microwave). Bed was comfortable. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool but it looked nice & spacious. Good location & easy drive to most wineries."

A lot of places are closed Mondays (some of the cellar doors, cafes and restaurants) so make sure you are visiting over other days to enjoy the full experience.

Looks lovely at this time of year with roses in full bloom. Neat and tidy town. Locals friendly. We were there for a balloon flight. Plenty to do outside of that.

The Bakery opposite the motel annexe served great breakfasts and was the best part of our stay in Nuriootpa apart from visiting Maggie Beer’s farm shop which was the main reason for coming here.
