"Nice hotel in a fantastic area right off the Japanese district with some amazing food within walking distance but with long queues often to get in in the evening. Plenty of bookable options within a cab ride. The room was “boutique”. It was basically a bed, chair, small desk, a metal grid on the wall with 4 hangers and a TV + bathroom. "Good location - about 5 mins walk from the station so very convenient. Main issue was lots of groundwork opposite the station so a little inconvenient. I would say the hotel is ok but central Essen was not as good as I had hoped. Hotel was decent enough! "
