"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). "What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways. The views are dramatic and exquisite. The owners are lovely people and made us very welcome. Breakfast was a feast of lovely pastries, bread, preserves and muesli type cereals. I cannot recommend this place enough and I'm sure that we will come back here again. "

"Spent 3 nights in room "Stella bella". Rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable and stylish. Location is 5 minutes away by car from nice beaches in Ile Rousse. Please note that there is only 1 aircon unit in the room, hence need to leave door open to cool down. There is also only 1 toilet for the 2 bedrooms. Terrasse is great but is a bit noisy due to road proximity. Breakfast was simple, only hot drinks, baked goods and juice. "

Maybe most guest bring this sort of thing but as we are from Canada we had to rely on what was there. The furniture was Roche Bobois but it wasn't as comfortable as I expected.
