"This is a gorgeous property with tons of space. The beds were very comfortable. We loved our evenings here in the hot tub with the fire table close by. Our morning coffee overlooking the valley will never be forgotten! This truly was the highlight of our vacation!"

"Stay was great, house was sufficient for our needs. The only drawbacks were the double bed in one room is pretty small & not very comfy for 2 adults. Also the wall heaters when kicked on are the old ones and smelled pretty bad for several hours. "

"This was our first time in the area, and this lovely bungalow was the perfect spot from which to get to Wind Cave National Park, Custer State Park, and the Black Hill National Forest. It’s nice and clean. They provide everything you need for comfort and cooking. The owners are super responsive! (Only reason we marked a star off the location is because the surrounding streets are under construction, making access challenging - it’s in walking distance to the center of town.)"

"We stayed at the Meadow Cabin during our recent South Dakota vacation. Other than the street construction, we had a great stay in Hot Springs. We especially loved the peaceful setting and the tipis next to our cabin. What we loved most was seeing deer and turkey stroll right alongside our cabin. "We LOVED being here! The outside decks and seating were so comfortable. Nestled in the pines on the edge of the bluff, the view was superb...so relaxing. We enjoyed the hottub. So private. Everything we could need was provided."

"The location in the heart of town was easy to locate. The room and building had a lot of character. The bed was comfortable and our children each made due with the pullout couch and chair. Lack of doors prevented privacy, bathroom being the only door in the room itself. The shower was very nice. The communal kitchen was utilized and could tell previous people that stayed don't have the same cleaning priority as our family. Not the fault of the owners. "

Best location and great rooms with charm.

"The building is from the 19th century so it has a charm to it. The floors are pretty good. The heater was able to make it comfortable as it was maybe 40F outside at night. Maybe it was colder. I really want to love this place as the location is great, the owners were very friendly and accommodating but keeping in mind the price in a perfect world the hallways wouldn't creep in so much noise from other guests. That's perhaps my only complaint. The doors being perhaps the thing I wish kept more sound out. It wasn't bad but I was with my kids and definitely imagined we were making noise too. With good weather the walkability of this location is amazing. THe new construction for the sidewalks is gorgeous and we enjoyed visiting the food, shops and movie theatre. The river is also a joy to walk along. The room was great but for the price I wish it was a bit nicer. I would stay again though as the location is just too good."

"Ice machine out of order. Need to have a coffee machine. Scared to get coffee from coffee maker. The nonstick coating on the waffle maker was peeling off so scared to make a waffle. Fortunate enough I had friends that got a room at the Holiday Inn so I had breakfast over there. None of the doors locked to the hotel. The staff was nice but they probably should tear that place down and rebuild it. Sometimes getting a better deal doesn’t work out for you."
