"Fantastic accommodation, very clean and well presented, with everything you need. Hosts on site were both friendly and welcoming while also providing privacy. Location is ideal for summer fun, especially for families. You cant get any closer to the playground and the beach is easy walking distance. ..."

Ohope is just far enough from Whakatane to be close enough to quickly drive over for shopping. Not too many choices for food, we ate at two of the about 4 places to eat in the village and were not disappointed. Main road is very busy so take care.
