Fully furnished 2 bedroom cottage nestled amongst farmland overlooking the kaimai ranges. With beautiful views, a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms both with queen beds and all linen provided. Bathroom with a shower and also a washing machine available. 20minute drive to hobbiton and 40minute drive to Rotorua, Tauranga and Hamilton we are very central. Lovely Location.
The views are beautiful and the accommodation is very comfortable. It's close to Wairere Falls, Hobbiton and the Firth Tower estate museum. The owners are friendly and invited us along to watch some of their cows give birth.

Fids farmhouse review
We had a wonderful stay. Tracy and Stuart made us feel very welcome from the start. Tracy brought over a basket of feijoas the first morning and then muffins the 2nd. She took on us of a tour of their dairy farm which was a very interesting process. It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful vistas but centered to many of attractions in the area. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay at night while visiting the area's many attractions.

Absolutely loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Tracy and Zoe were so friendly and easy going. The place was warm, clean and had everything we needed. It was a real treat for the kids to be involved with feeding the newborn calves. Highly recommend!

Very nice place.
We stayed for 4 days. Place was awesome and quiet with nice views and Jan the dog meeting us every evening on our return. I would recommend this place to anyone even for a weekend getaway. AAA+++

A slice of paradise!!!
The experience right through from booking to liaising with the organizer and staying there was phenomenal... It was all smooth, the place is a treat to nature lover and we enjoyed a lot. Zoe was great at communicating. We had everything in the house, all set up and ready. No disturbance, very calm. Farmdog Jam was sweet as his name stands :) will definitely stay again and refer to anyone that wants to getaway to matamata. This place is super awesome!!! Thanks heaps for having us :)

Overnight peace on long trip home

Stargazer’s delight
Great little space with all you’d want (minus WiFi, though that could be a regional limitation and who couldn’t do with a day of “unplugging” anyway?) for a quiet stay. Close to Matamata with plenty of eateries. At night look up and take in the beauty of the milky way. Jammie, their senior farm dog, is an actual angel.

Marvelous Matamata stay
Loved staying here. Beautiful view, clean simple and comfortable stay. A quick drive in to town and a slightly longer quick drive to get to the Shire's Rest for a hobbitton visit. Will be back if I ever return to Matamata.
