"Close to the water with amazing views, very private with plenty of activities both indoors and outdoors. Perfect weather on arrival and departure but unfortunately not good on our one full day at the bach so we didn’t get to use the dinghy or kayaks. It’s close proximity to Picton meant we could drive into town for dinner both nights.Overall we had an awesome time away and would love to return."

"Overall a very beautiful setting and very comfortable rustic housing for six adult family members. Highly recommend. Only challenge was managing heat / house temperature and suggest adding a mini split heat pump .eliminate this discomfort. "

"A beautiful family beach holiday crib right by the seashore. Lawns for cricket in the evenings; mud flats to explore at low tide; a wee beach or two to wander along; log fire for chilly autumn mornings and those long holiday evenings sitting round playing board games and cards together. We couldn’t have dreamed of anything better than what we had the privilege of enjoying here thank you to the hosts who share their slice of paradise"

"A lovely spot with immaculate views, the kids loved the supplied kayaks. Getting them home and cleaning them was a small challenge. House and gardens were perfect with local birdlife hopping through the trees. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Kitchen well appointed. "

"Troy & Jo have a super Bach which is perfect if you want to spend a few days enjoying everything that Pelorus Sound can offer. The standard of accommodation is very good and showers and cooking options are excellent. Troy was an excellent and very helpful & responsive host. "The place is remote and fabulous with a steep gravel driveway and set far above the road for noiseless nights of stargazing. "We loved the outdoor space, location near the Queen Charlotte Track and the snooker table! It was our first time playing snooker. There is room to spread out, but the bedrooms were tight. Unfortunately, there were no outlets in the bathroom. Not a big thing, but something we noticed and were aware of. We appreciated that they were environmentally aware and made it easy for us to participate. We would return in a heartbeat!"

"The house has a wonderful view over the Mahakipawa Arm. We spent three beautiful nights there. When we arrived, there were a few issues with cleanliness which I shared with the property manager. It's a lovely, albeit basic space. We were a party of three, and we cooked every night. Kitchen items were limited, just enough to accomodate basic meals for our small group.
