This is the worst place I have ever stayed in the UK - note that the condition of the place is significantly worse than the photos suggest. When viewed in person, the place is dark, dingy, smells bad, in need of serious improvements throughout and many things are broken or not 'right' with the room.
The details will never show in photos, but everything from the old dark hallways with creaky stairs, to sticky surfaces everywhere you touch. The window blinds were not actually attached to the wall, it fell off its brackets as soon as you touch it. The bedside lampshade was broken and looked very old. The 'tea and coffee station' was useless as there was no socket for the kettle, and the sugar sachets were open/used. The window when closed did not seal all the way round, meaning you can hear the loud main road outside and the wind and rain. The (shared) toilet was very odd as the main ceiling light is bright blue! The bedding seemed like it had been washed but was not the bright white colour you would expect - they looked old and did not 'feel' clean. All the room doors are self-closing but they all close with a very loud 'bang!' and this woke me up many times as guests left and entered there rooms throughout the night. I did not sleep well at all.
As you can see it is a very strange place and definitely best to avoid if you can.
