"It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding. ...

"We were very pleased with the cabin. Short 5-10 minute drive to the Mountain Village area to ski, depending on the amount of snow. Had a lot of snow while we stayed so the view was beautiful. Plenty of space in the cabin for us. Kitchen had all the supplies we needed. Great place. "

"The view from this home is spectacular. It is a very roomy and comfortable home with walkable access to Bridges ski run. While the location is great, the included shuttle service is what made it practical. The local Telluride property management team was great to work with, but the main fireplace was not operational and the snow removal poor. At this price point, AvantStay should improve on maintenance of this beautiful property."

"What a lovely home!!! Right in the heart of Ouray walking distance to town, this was a cozy place to stay for a winter vacation. It was warm, with lots of good books. Sitting a bit over town, it had the most beautiful views out the large living room window. I cooked all meals, and I will say it lacked a few basics like coffee filters and maybe a good cast iron skillet as most pans were teflon that appeared old. Wonderful stay overall! "

"This is a prime place to stay for quiet surroundings close to Mountain Village and Telluride without being actually in either. The wood burning stove is a big plus. The bedrooms are a bit quirky with "jack and jill" style shared bathrooms, but everything functions. Good for groups who know each other well and are comfortable sharing space.
