Second Stay at Bonnet Creek
I recently had a great stay at Bonnet Creek. Booking through Koala was a breeze, and I am very satisfied with the process. In fact, I plan to book with them again next May!
The facilities are great & the location is perfect.
The only issue during my stay, not related to Koala, was at check-in, I was asked if building 2 was acceptable, but they did not mention the ongoing construction. While the noise wasn’t an issue, the construction vehicles blocking the parking lot and the roundabout in front of the building were problematic. At one point, I arrived with groceries and pulled into the roundabout, & was stuck because construction equipment was blocked the exit and guests pulled up behind me, further blocking me in. AFTER the construction workers saw me sit & wait a while then reverse through the roundabout around cars, the construction equipment was moved.
Despite this inconvenience, I still enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning next year. It would be helpful if the hotel could provide more information about construction activities during check-in to avoid similar issues for future guests.
